Parish of Burwell with Reach, Cambridgeshire requires an
Organist and choir/music group leader
who enjoys both modern & traditional church music
We are looking for a person who will be able to enthuse and train the adults and children in our choir and who can also accompany and encourage our music group, which plays fortnightly. We usually have one Sunday service and a weekly practice, with extra seasonal services. Availability for weddings and funerals would be helpful. Remuneration and fees will be within RSCM guidelines. Ely Cathedral Octagon Singers (ECOS)
ECOS is Ely Cathedral’s voluntary choir. It is an integral part of the Cathedral’s musical life, singing at Choral Evensong, Sunday Eucharist, and many special services, and appearing often in the Cathedral’s busy concert calendar.
Members (aged 18 or over) are experienced amateur singers and standards are high. There is no regular weekly rehearsal: most preparation is done on the day of a service. The attendance requirement is flexible, allowing singers to sign up for commitments as they choose.

Interested? If so please contact the Imps Administrator, as soon as possible to arrange a time to sing to Edmund Aldhouse. There is no need to be scared of an “audition” because the occasion will be a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
